"The Pictures Speak" title comes from the fact, that I myself am not particularily verbose, so art has always been a good way for me to express myslef. Because pictures, they can speak for themselves. This is my online blog for my photography class, where I will be posting pictures and blogs throughout the duration of this semester.

This series leaves me speechless. 1,2, & 5 are my favorites. It's hard for me to comment.
ReplyDeleteLindsey, these really show off your use of the editing tools we've been learning in class. You have some that work really well. I think the first image is strongest, personally, with the stark, shadowy figure of the boy in extreme contrast from his surroundings. However...I don't have a problem with it this time, but in future assignments, I want to see some photographs taken here and now, ok?
ReplyDeleteHard to say which one is my favorite, there all great. Good work!
ReplyDeleteThis must have been an awesome experience for you, I really like 1,3,4. (Hard to select only one) Picture 1, because I like photos of people that are "unstaged" if you will and the contrast with the child's surroundings. Picture 3 its just a powerful image and picture 4 because i like the contrast that the child's toboggan hat gives the photo. Also good work on 5, I like how you blurred the background giving the flower more emphasis.
ReplyDeleteIts so hard to choose because these are all so good. But, I'd have to say the 3rd one is my favorite!
ReplyDeleteI think these look great. They all seem the same in level of darkness. I especially like the first one how the girl is almost a silhouette.
